Servicios Compartidos

Shared Services

Our Shared Services approach is based on an operating model in which a specialized unit within the organization delivers highly transactional services (e.g., Accounting & Reporting, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Payroll services, IT functions) to various business units (regardless of their legal structure), with the goal of optimizing costs and standardizing functions, while avoiding duplication of efforts.

We design and/or operate customized solutions tailored to your company, combining flexibility, scalability, and efficiency. We help you leverage technology as a strategic business ally, incorporating key capabilities and standardized processes.

This approach enables the transformation of operational functions into true growth enablers. Whether you're operating in multiple locations or managing several businesses, we help you build a sustainable competitive advantage.

Organization, integration, and stabilization of critical functions. Process consolidation, reduction of operational complexity, and creation of real synergies between previously separate organizations or units.

In this initial stage, we assess whether implementing a Shared Services Center (SSC) model is viable and beneficial for your organization. Through the analysis of available organizational information and interviews, we identify which activities could be migrated to the SSC and which should remain within the Business Units. We also determine the optimal location for the SSC by evaluating factors such as operational and labor costs, infrastructure, geography and connectivity, talent availability and skill level, regulatory and tax environment, business climate, and country stability.

In this phase, we define how the Shared Services model will function in practice. Based on the previous diagnostic (AS-IS), we document the TO-BE processes (procedure manual + flowcharts), establish service boundaries with Business Units, develop and approve Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and design the implementation and training plan.
This design can be approached at a preliminary or detailed level, depending on the timing and needs of the organization—starting from a high-level view and gradually landing into specific actions.

  • Operational design of the SSC
  • Implementation planning

This stage involves launching the Shared Services Center. Defined processes are implemented, the new operating model is activated, and Business Units are supported throughout the transition. Technological readiness is ensured, SLAs are formalized, and knowledge transfer is carried out.
During the process, we monitor the migration plan's execution, optimize workloads, train teams, and provide technical support to ensure a successful adoption. We also oversee the first monthly close and generate reports to identify risks or areas for adjustment.

  • Management and control tools

  • Implementation monitoring

With the Shared Services up and running, the focus shifts to maximizing performance through continuous improvement in processes, technology, structure, and talent management.
Outsourcing—either as a natural evolution of the SSC model or as a strategic decision from the outset—involves delegating the execution of operational processes to a specialized provider, with the aim of increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and freeing up internal capacity so the organization can focus on its core business.

  • Shadowing (development of the operations manual)

  • Ramp-up (acceleration phase)
